The BlackBerry Collaboration Service for BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 SP3 properly starts and remains running, but BlackBerry smartphone users cannot log in from the smartphone using the Enterprise Messenger client.
The BBIM logs from the server hosting the BlackBerry Collaboration Service shows these errors:

The required components for the BlackBerry Collaboration Service to properly support a connection to Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2 or Microsoft Lync 2010 pools were not installed prior to the BlackBerry Collaboration Service starting up.
The server hosting the BlackBerry Collaboration Service must have these components installed:
- Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1
- Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (vcredist_x64.exe)
- Microsoft SQL Server Native Client (sqlncli_x64.msi)
- Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2 Core Components (ocscore.msi)
- Microsoft Unified Communications Managed API 2.0 Core Redistributable 64-bit (ucmaredist.msi)
The BlackBerry Setup application will remind the administrator to install these components, but will not stop the administrator from proceeding with the installation.
To obtain these files if the Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2 installation media is unavailable, visit Microsoft's Download Center and search for "Microsoft Unified Communications Managed API 2.0 SDK (64 bit)".
This Software Development Kit will download the necessary components and place them in an installation folder (defaults to an SDK folder on the root of the primary hard drive):
C:\Microsoft Unified Communications Managed API 2.0 SDK Installer package\amd64
