With BlackBerry® PlayBook™ Tablet OS 1.0.7.2942 and BlackBerry® Bridge™ 1.0.5.6, the functionality of BlackBerry® Internet Browsing Service (BIBS) over BlackBerry Bridge was enabled. This functionality allows the BlackBerry PlayBook to leverage the BlackBerry smartphones connection to the internet while not connected to Wi-Fi®.
Current native PlayBook applications are supported with some limitations below:

Some third party application may have limitations with leveraging this functionality. This is not an issue with the PlayBook OS or BlackBerry Bridge application. If an error occurs a reload of the software will not resolve the issue.
