The font changes to Times New Roman when responding to HTML email messages

When responding to HTML email messages on a BlackBerry® smartphone, the font changes to Times New Roman when another font type, such as Calibri, was previously used.
The BlackBerry smartphone delivers enhanced HTML encoding within email messages that do not contain bidirectional text.
This is a previously reported issue that is being investigated by our development team. A resolution is currently unavailable.

Remove languages that are read Right to Left from the device using the following steps:

  1. Open Options from the home screen
  2. Click on Typing and Languages
  3. Click on Language
  4. Click on the Manage button under the Input Languages heading
  5. Uncheck any right to left languages such as Hebrew and Arabic
  6. Click on Save
