A variety of BlackBerry smartphones feature Bluetooth wireless technology, which enables the use of hands-free calls, stream music wirelessly and transfer file data such as documents and photos to a compatible wireless receiving device.

Bluetooth wireless technology is often used in cars to assist with hands-free calls and can also provide additional feature such as streaming audio music from the BlackBerry smartphone.

  • Not all car manufactures are within this list. 
  • It is advisable to check with the car manufacture companies for compatibility with a BlackBerry smartphone. 
  • BlackBerry is not responsible for updating these lists with the latest BlackBerry smartphones available. Each car manufacture carry out their own tests of  Bluetooth capable smartphone phone devices and upon these tests they update their compatibility lists.
  • Features available via Bluetooth  are dependent on the car manufacture. 
  • Please ensure the BlackBerry smartphone being paired with the vehicle in question is updated to its latest Operating System bundle available.
