When logging into Yahoo!® Messenger for BlackBerry® smartphones the following login error is received:
"Invalid Yahoo! ID or Password"
The Yahoo!® ID or password was entered incorrectly.
If the Yahoo! user name and password are entered correctly, perform the steps listed in the Workaround section.
- Uncheck the option Remember my ID and Password
- Retype the Yahoo! ID and password (Do not place a check next the option Remember my ID and Password)
- Click Sign In
** Note: 2–3 sign in attempts may need to be done in order to process any previously queued tries - Once logged in successfully, the Remember my ID and Password option can then be used again
