The following error message appears when the administrator click on the E-mail section for a user:

Some function and data are unavailable because the BlackBerry Mail Store was not found.

The BlackBerry Administration Service log file (BAS-AS) will display the following error message:

(03/22 08:53:48:800):{http-test.tt.ad.abc.abc%2F134.00.000.000-443-15} [com.rim.bes.bas.mailstoreaccess.MailstoreAccessorUtilities] [WARN] [BBAS-2008] {u=8, uc=1, o=0, t=168959} checkUserPermissionsOnFolders could not complete due to exception: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: validateParameters null parameter

CollapseCause
User Access Control can sometimes cause an when trying to access some user setting from the BlackBerry Administration Service.
CollapseResolution
Disable User Access Control for the BlackBerry Service Account and restart the BlackBerry Server.
