After upgrading the operating system of the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet to version 2.0.1.358, the PlayBook tablet is no longer presented as a CD-ROM drive and the installation of the BlackBerry Device Manager is not initiated.

BlackBerry Desktop Software also does not detect the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet and the internal memory is not mounted as a storage volume.

One of the following error messages may be displayed:

  • Media services are not available.
  • Your BlackBerry device is not compatible with this feature.
