Appointments created in iCal do not synchronize to the BlackBerry smartphone after updating to OSX 10.7.4

After a sync is performed using the BlackBerry Desktop Software for Mac, entries created in iCal do not appear on the BlackBerry smartphone. Items created on the BlackBerry smartphone appear in iCal as expected.

Data created in iCal is not being pushed to Apple Sync Services.

This issue has been addressed and resolved in Apple OSX 10.8.
