How to manage panels on the BlackBerry smartphone

BlackBerry 7 device software has given the capability of managing and categorizing the icons under different panels.

There are five panels:

  1. All
  2. Favorites
  3. Media
  4. Downloads
  5. Frequent

In order to manage these panels follow the below mentioned steps:

  1. Scroll over any panel. The panel will get highlighted in blue.
  2. Click the Menu key.
  3. Select Manage Panels.
  4. Check or unckeck the box next to the panel that needs to be displayed or hidden on the home screen respectively.
  5. Click the Menu key.
  6. Select Save.

Note: All panel is greyed out and can not be unchecked. This is by design.
