Spreadsheet documents (XLSX extension) created on a computer that are transferred to the BlackBerry® PlayBook™ tablet can be edited and saved while using English as the BlackBerry PlayBook language within the Docs To Go editor. If the PlayBook language is changed to French s or any other language language the follow error occurs when attempting to edit cells within the spreadsheet:

This is a previously reported issue that is being investigated by our development team. No resolution time frame is currently available.
CollapseWorkaround

Change the Current Language to English and edit the spreadsheet cell.

  1. Go into Options (cogwheel)
  2. Select Language
  3. Beside Current Language choose English from the drop-down list
  4. Edit the spreadsheet cell
  5. Once editing is complete change the Current Language of English back to desired language
