At present the only way to manage the data services while roaming functionality is via the BlackBerry® smartphone alone. There are no IT Policy rules available to set, enable or disable the Data Services Roaming functionality from the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. This may be a concern for BlackBerry Enterprise Server administrators as Blackberry smartphone users can consume data in roaming when they are abroad without any restrictions.
In order to manage it from the Blackberry smartphone, do the following from the home screen:
Options - Networks and Connections - Mobile Network - then select On, Off or Prompt.
