CollapseOverview

When a BlackBerry smartphone is password lock and subsequently unlocked some previously open applications, such as the BlackBerry Browser are noticed to be closed and not running.

CollapseCause

When Content Protection is enabled either from the BlackBerry smartphone or through an IT Policy from a BlackBerry Enterprise Server the expected behavior for Content Protection is to attempt to close all open windows when the BlackBerry smartphone is password locked.

The closing of open screens is done in an effort to eliminate the possibility of sensitive information being held onto by an application while the device is locked

CollapseResolution
Disable Content Protection to avoid applications from being closed when the BlackBerry is password locked.
