- BlackBerry® Desktop Software for Mac 2.4.0.16
- Mac OS X 10.8
- DT 5729876
When attempting to synchronize notes (MemoPad on the BlackBerry smartphone) using the BlackBerry® Desktop Software, the notes will not transfer between the BlackBerry® smartphone and Notes application on the system.
Additionally, there are no error messages reported by BlackBerry Desktop Software during the synchronization and the synchronization process completes successfully.
As of Mac OS X 10.8, Apple Mail is no longer used for managing notes, instead a separate Notes application is used.
The BlackBerry Desktop Software utilizes OS X's Sync Services engine in order to synchronize data between the computer and the BlackBerry smartphone.
Currently, the Notes application, present in OS X 10.8, does not communicate with OS X's Sync Services, therefore, notes will not be synchronized between the device and Notes application.
