When attempting to download or upgrade an application through BlackBerry World on the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet the following error is encountered:
There were problems completing this purchase. Please try again or visit BlackBerry World Support for more information. (Error Id: 35005)
Users may also be asked to pay for an upgrade of a free application where no paid upgrades are available.
This is a previously reported issue that is being investigated by our development team. No resolution time frame is currently available.
On the PlayBook, perform the following steps:
- Open BlackBerry World.
- Select My World > Refresh List.
- When the refresh is complete, a confirmation will be displayed.
- Press OK.
The application can now be downloaded again.
- Clear the BlackBerry World cache. To reset the cache please follow KB24714.
- Close and reopen BlackBerry World.
Delete and reinstall the application that will not upgrade. This will delete the current version of the application and allow for upgrade to the new version of the application.
Note: Some applications record content associated with that application (i.e. progress, high scores, levels completed in a game, etc.). Deleting and reinstalling the application will delete this content.
