When creating an appointment on the BlackBerry 10 smartphone by tapping on any time in the week, month, or day view, and then opening that appointment, changing the time will cause the Calendar application to crash.

This is a previously reported issue that is being investigated by our development team. No resolution time frame is currently available.

Workaround 1

Modify default calendar to a calendar other than Gmail:

  1. On the homescreen, swipe down from the top bezel.
  2. Select SettingsAccountsSet Defaults > Calendar
  3. Select a calendar other than Gmail.

Workaround 2

After tapping on any time in the week, month, or day view to create the appointment, if the time needs to be modified:

  1. Open the new calendar item.
  2. Modify the Subject and Location.
  3. Save the appointment.
  4. Open the appointment again and modify the time of the event.
