Attachment is stripped and text file sent in its place for device on Novell GroupWise Mobility Server

When a BlackBerry, iOS or Android user receives an email containing an attachment that exceeds 500KB, the attachment is stripped. In its place is a text file containing the following information:

<filename> : <filesize> -

This attachment exceeds the maximum file size of 500 KB.

Note: Resending the attachment does not resolve the problem.

In Novell Data Synchronizer and Novell GroupWise Mobility Server, the default attachment limit is set to 500KB for both the Mobility Connector and the GroupWise Connector components.

Log into the Novell Data Synchronizer or Novell GroupWise Mobility Server Admin console, and increase the default attachment limit.
