Enterprise activation process stops at Activating or Retrying status due to insufficient wireless network coverage

The BlackBerry smartphone displays an Activating or Retrying status during the enterprise activation process.

CollapseCause

The BlackBerry smartphone is not in an area with sufficient wireless network coverage.

Looking at the BlackBerry Agent log, you will see the following log line:

[40913] (05/19 16:34:27.196):{0x8EC} {ABC@123.com} Device 1234ABCD state: out of coverage

CollapseResolution

Test network connectivity by sending a personal identification number (PIN) message from the BlackBerry smartphone to yourself.

If the PIN message test does not work, wait for the enterprise activation process to continue when you return to an area with sufficient wireless network coverage.
