HTTP Error 500 appears while using the BlackBerry Client for Microsoft SharePoint

Occasionally while using the BlackBerry Client for Microsoft SharePoint, the user may be prompted to enter credentials. After the correct credentials are entered and the user clicks OK, the error “HTTP Error 500” appears on the BlackBerry smartphone.

Dismissing this error allows the user to continue using the BlackBerry Client for Microsoft SharePoint. Any subsequent actions will succeed without a prompt for credentials.


This is a previously reported issue that has been escalated internally to our development team. No resolution time frame is currently available.
