How to confirm that wireless reconciliation and synchronization is enabled on the BlackBerry smartphone

To confirm that wireless reconciliation and synchronization is enabled on the BlackBerry smartphone, the following items must be verified:

Email - Confirm wireless reconciliation is enabled

  1. Open Messages
  2. Press the Menu button and select Options
  3. Select Email Reconciliation
  4. Ensure Message Services is set to the email account you want to configure
  5. Ensure the Wireless Reconcile option is present and set to ON
  6. Exit and Save

Calendar and Address Book - Confirm wireless synchronization is enabled

  1. Open the corresponding application
  2. Press the Menu and select Options
  3. Select Desktop
  4. Ensure the Wireless Synchronization option is present and is set to Yes
  5. Exit and Save

Memos and Tasks - Confirm wireless synchronization is enabled

  1. Open the corresponding application
  2. Press the menu button and select Options
  3. Select Desktop
  4. Ensure the Wireless Synchronization option is present and is set to Yes
  5. Exit and Save

Confirm wireless synchronization has been reset

  1.  Go to Options
  2. Select Advanced Options
  3. Select Enterprise Activation
  4. In the email field hold ALT and type CNFG
  5. When the hidden menu appears change Wireless Sync to NO
  6. Exit and Save
  7. Wait 30 seconds and repeat step 4 (ALT + CNFG)
  8. Change Wireless Sync back to Yes
  9. Exit and Save
  10. After approximately 30 seconds you will see an activation status appear
