When attempting to synchronize media with a BlackBerry® PlayBook™ tablet and Windows® XP x64 Edition, the following is displayed:

Your BlackBerry device is not compatible with this feature

The BlackBerry PlayBook tablet SSL certificate is specifying SHA2-256 which is not supported by Windows XP x64 Edition.

This is a previously reported issue that is currently under investigation by our development team.
CollapseWorkaround

Microsoft® Knowledge Base article 968730 will workaround this issue and allow the BlackBerry PlayBook to connect to Windows XP x64 Edition. Visit http://support.microsoft.com and for more information.
