When trying to download applications from the BlackBerry App World™ storefront, the following error is displayed.
There is an issue connecting to BlackBerry App World. Please try again.
The firewall of the Windows machine is blocking the access. There is a need to have the machine to have the direct connection to the BlackBerry App World.
This will also affect machines in a corporate proxy environment
This is a previously reported issue that is being investigated by our development team. No resolution time frame is currently available.
Ensure that the machine permits the direct connection to the BlackBerry App World Portal.
