Unable to access BlackBerry World after entering BlackBerry ID information

Upon opening BlackBerry World and entering BlackBerry ID information, the following error appears:

An error has occurred. Please try again later.

Update to the latest version of the BlackBerry World client using the following steps:

1. Launch the Browser on the BlackBerry smartphone.
2. Navigate to: http://www.blackberry.com/appworld
3. Select Download it Today > Download Now.
5. Choose the required language.
6. Select Download.
7. Replace the current version with the new version of BlackBerry World.
8. Select the Reboot option once the download and installation has completed.
