How to modify the signature for an email address integrated on a BlackBerry smartphone

BlackBerry Enterprise Email

  1. On the Home screen, click the Messages icon.
  2. Press the Menu key > Options.
  3. Click Email Preferences.
  4. If the Message Services field appears, change this field to the appropriate email account.
  5. If the Use Auto Signature check box is not selected, select it.
  6. The default signature can be used, or a custom signature can be entered.
  7. Press the menu key > Save.

Note: The new signature is added to the email after the message is sent.

BlackBerry Internet Service Email

Each email address integrated to the BlackBerry Internet Service can have a custom signature appended to the bottom of the email message when sent from the BlackBerry smartphone. The default text is set by the carrier but can by changed by the subscriber. To modify the signature, follow these steps:

  1. On the Home screen, click the Messages icon.
  2. Press the Menu key > Options.
  3. Click Email Account Management. Click an email account.
  4. Click Edit and type a signature.
  5. Press the menu key > Save.

Note: Depending on the wireless service plan, this feature may not be supported.
