If the Rotation Lock setting on the BlackBerry Z10 smartphone is turned on and then the smartphone is restarted, the setting returns to being off.

To access the Rotation Lock setting, on the home screen, swipe down from the top bezel. To toggle the setting tap the lock icon beside Rotation Lock.

With the Rotation Lock setting turned on (icon is blue), the orientation of the contents on the smartphone's screen are locked to portrait.

With the Rotation Lock setting turned off (icon is white), the orientation of the contents on the smartphone's screen can be changed to landscape or portrait depending on how the device is held.
