CollapseOverview

When a BlackBerry Smart Card Reader is connected to a BlackBerry Curve 8520 smartphone via a secure Bluetooth connection, if the smartphone is runs out of power, the connection between the devices is lost.

When the smartphone is powered back on, it will allow the associated BlackBerry Smart Card Reader to be selected, however, the BlackBerry Smart Card Reader may show Press Button and not reconnect to the smartphone.

This behaviour is only seen when the BlackBerry Smart Card Reader and the smartphone are actively paired at the time that the smartphone runs out of power.

CollapseWorkaround
