Last Modified: 12-03-2013

Product(s) Affected:

  • BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10
  • BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 version 10.2
After installing BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 version 10.2, the administrator does not have the ability to add users from the company directory.

This is now a required post installation step after installing BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 version 10.2.

Perform the following steps to integrate with the Corporate Directory which will then allow managing of users from it:

  1. Open the Universal Device Service console and navigate to Settings, Company Directory.
Select the appropriate directory type that is intended for integration and fill in the required information.
  2. Open the BlackBerry Device Service console and navigate to Company Directory Integration located in the BlackBerry Solution Management section.
Create a new company directory connection, selecting either LDAP or Active Directory and fill in the appropriate information.

Once the above steps are completed, the administrator will be able to manage company directory users through all management consoles in BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10.
