An upgrade or Install of BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 version 10.2 fails with a "Found corrupt MSI cache" error in the logs

Installation of BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 version 10.2 fails because it find corrupt or mismatch MSI information during the upgrade/install. A review of the registry using Promon will show the exact registry entries which are being read and causing the corrupt cache to be reported.

CollapseCause
Incorrect information from previous installations or upgrades is left over in the registry which causes the installation to fail.
