The February 2014 Daylight Savings Time update has been replaced by the March 2014 Daylight Savings Time Update, see KB35812.

The February 2014 Daylight Savings Time (DST) update replaces the September 2013 DST update. It is a cumulative update and includes updates to the following time zones:

Renamed Time Zones

The Tashkent (+5) time zone has been renamed to Ashgabat, Tashkent (+5).

Deleted Time Zones

The Mid-Atlantic (-2) time zone has been removed. If the BlackBerry is currently set to the Mid-Atlantic (-2) time zone the device will be automatically switched to UTC (-2).

Required Switches

Switch Description
-db Use this switch to specify the name of the BlackBerry Configuration Database being updated. The default value is BESMgmt.
-n Use this switch to specify the hostname or instance of the database server.
-input Specifies the path and file name of the script to execute. Ensure to select the script for the applicable database server type.


Optional Switches

Switch   Description
-dbms Use this switch to specify if either Microsoft SQL Server or IBM DB2 Universal Server are in use. If this switch is not used, Microsoft SQL Server is assumed.
-dbauth Use this switch if SQL Authentication is in use. If this switch is not used, Windows Authentication is used.
-dbuser Use this switch to specify the username to be used with Microsoft SQL Server authentication. This switch is required if the -dbauth switch is used.
-dbpass Use this switch to specify the password to be used with Microsoft SQL Server authentication. This switch is required if the -dbauth switch is used.


Note: If the error Unable to read input file is displayed, check the name and path of LoadSyncDeviceConfig.sql to ensure it is correct.
