CollapseWorkaround

As a workaround to this issue, change the Folder Redirection settings from the BlackBerry smartphone by performing the following:

  1. From the Home screen, click Messages.
  2. Display the menu.
  3. Click Options.
  4. Click Email Settings.
  5. Display the menu and select Folder Redirection.
  6. In the Folder Redirection menu, expand the Mailbox by selecting it.
  7. Display the menu and select Expand.
  8. Under the Mailbox, expand the Inbox by selecting it.
  9. Display the menu and select Expand.
  10. Select the folder for which you want to enable redirection.
  11. Display the menu and select Change Option.

Note: If the Change Option menu option is unavailable, try turning Wireless Reconcile off and then on again. Wireless Reconcile is located in Messages > Options > Email Reconciliation.

  12. Display the menu and select Save to save the changes. New email messages that are filtered to the subfolder will now appear on the BlackBerry smartphone in a subfolder of the same name. Existing email messages from the subfolder will not reconcile and synchronize to the BlackBerry smartphone subfolder.
