The following error messages identify issues that might occur when connecting a Wi-Fi® enabled BlackBerry smartphone to the Unlicensed Mobile Access (UMA) service using a Wi-Fi connection.


W000 - Security Key Incorrect

The security key on the BlackBerry smartphone does not match the security key on the wireless access point, or the Media Access Control (MAC) address of the BlackBerry smartphone is not on the allowed list for the wireless access point.


W010 - Wi-Fi Connection Failed

The BlackBerry smartphone is not in range of the Wi-Fi network, the Wi-Fi network signal is weak, or the BlackBerry smartphone has incorrect security settings for the Wi-Fi network.


W002 - Wi-Fi Connection Failed

The BlackBerry smartphone cannot get an Internet Protocol (IP) address from the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server. This error may be caused by issues with the DHCP server, MAC address filtering, or static IP address assignments.


W003 - Wi-Fi Connection Failed

The BlackBerry smartphone detects an IP address conflict.


W004 - ISP error. DNS server cannot be reached

The BlackBerry smartphone cannot contact a Domain Name System (DNS) server.


W005.1 - ISP error. Retry.

W005.2 - ISP error. Retry.

W005.3 - ISP error. Retry.

The BlackBerry smartphone cannot connect to the UMA service using a Wi-Fi connection to the Internet.


W006.1 - ISP network error.

W006.2 - ISP network error.

W006.3 - ISP network error.

W006.4 - ISP network error.

W006.5 - ISP network error.

W006.6 - ISP network error.

W006.7 - ISP network error.

W006.8 - ISP network error.

W006.9 - ISP network error.

The BlackBerry smartphone cannot connect to the UMA service using a Wi-Fi connection to the Internet.


J007 - Incorrect Security Certificate

The security certificate on the BlackBerry smartphone is invalid, the Wi-Fi network requires additional security credentials, or the MAC address of BlackBerry smartphone is not on the allowed list of the wireless access point.


J0011.1 - Failed to connect. Retry.

J0012.1 - Failed to connect. Retry.

J0013.1 - Failed to connect. Retry.

The wireless access point to which the BlackBerry smartphone is connected is not permitted by the UMA service.


J0011.2 - Failed to connect. Location not allowed.

J0012.2 - Failed to connect. Location not allowed.

J0013.2 - Failed to connect. Location not allowed.

The BlackBerry smartphone cannot access the UMA service from the current location.
