When a call is placed from the BlackBerry smartphone using BlackBerry MVS 5.0, the following error message appears:
Cannot connect to <number>
The following prompt then appears:
Mobile number has not been set
The mobile number is not specified in the general settings of the BlackBerry MVS options.
- On the Home screen of the BlackBerry smartphone, open the Phone application.
- Press the Menu key and click Options > MVS general settings > Mobile number.
- Specify the correct mobile number.
