During the activation of a BlackBerry® smartphone in BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 SP2, the following log line appears in the IBM Lotus Domino console as well as in the BlackBerry Messaging Agent (MAGT) log:

OTAC: Document NID=# has obsolete Domino 4.6 structure - not supported

The appearance of this line indicates that an OTAC document being processed has been discovered to be in the IBM Lotus Domino 4.6 template.

The $CSVersion field is not present, and it is not an all-day appointment, and this is not a federated calendar entry.

IBM tech note # 1229486 indicates that if $CSVersion is missing, then the entry was created with R4 client. However, all-day and federated appointments or meetings are not an issue.

BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 SP2 removes most of the compatibility with IBM Lotus Domino 4.6 recurring appointments.

This is a previously reported issue that is being investigated by our development team. No resolution time frame is currently available.
