- BlackBerry® Enterprise Server 4.1 SP6
- BlackBerry® Device Software 5.0
- Google Maps 4.2.0
When pushing Google Maps 4.2.0 from the BlackBerry® Enterprise Server with an IT Policy to a BlackBerry smartphone user, the BlackBerry smartphone user is prompted to Change permission or Proceed anyway every time application opens even though all Application Control Policies are set to Allow.
The IT policy Security subset Allow third Party apps to Use Serial Port may be set to False. This policy causes an adverse effect between Access Control Policy and the smartphone Third Party application permission Cross Application Communication; User Data to be marked as Deny.
Set the IT policy Security; Allow third Party apps to Use Serial Port to default.
