BlackBerry Travel app displays the error "Can't find location" when the Application does not detect the current location. This could occur because of:
- There is no GPS coverage in the current area.
Without GPS coverage, BlackBerry Travel will be unable to find the current location of BlackBerry smartphone.
- Location Services on the BlackBerry smartphone have been disabled.
Location services must be enabled on the BlackBerry smartphone to acquire a GPS location. If this option is disabled, BlackBerry Travel may not display an accurate location.
- There is no GPS coverage in the current area.
BlackBerry Travel may not be able to acquire a GPS location. Please ensure that you are located in an area with GPS coverage. For best results when trying to acquire a GPS location, it is recommended that you are located outside.
- Location Services on the BlackBerry smartphone have been disabled.
If using BlackBerry® 6, complete the following steps, to enable Location Data:
- From the homescreen, select the Universal Search icon Type Location Services
- Select Options
- Select Location Settings
- Ensure Location Data is set to Location On
If using BlackBerry handheld software 5.0:
- From the homescreen, select Options
- Select Advanced Options
- Select Location Settings
- Set Location Services to Location ON
