An application is removed from the BlackBerry smartphone and BlackBerry App World will not reinstall the application

An application that is uninstalled from the BlackBerry® smartphone BlackBerry App World™ storefront will not allow the application to be reinstalled because it finds that the application is still in the BlackBerry App World cache on the BlackBerry smartphone.
CollapseCause
The BlackBerry smartphone caches the applications that are installed on the smartphone from BlackBerry App World.  Therefore, BlackBerry App World finds the application in the cache and will not allow it to reinstall. 
CollapseResolution
The BlackBerry App World cache may be cleared but that may remove any applications that have been archived to a media card and removes all cached data on the BlackBerry smartphone.  Please reference KB24714 for more information or proceed to the Workaround section for a less intrusive way to reinstall the application.

To reinstall the application on the BlackBerry smartphone, please follow the steps below:

  1. Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to a Windows computer with a USB cable.
  2. On the Windows computer open BlackBerry App World at the following address:
    http://www.blackberry.com/appworld
  3. Click the Browse and download apps online link.
  4. Sign in using your BlackBerry ID.
  5. Click the My World link.
  6. Click the Download link.
  7. When the reinstall is complete, disconnect the BlackBerry smartphone from the Windows computer.
