The option to Compose PIN message is not visible on a BlackBerry smartphone. Receiving, replying to, and forwarding PIN messages still function as expected.

For smartphones using BlackBerry® 7 the issue has been resolved with BlackBerry Device Software 7.1.0.205 (Bundle 648).

  For smartphones using BlackBerry® 6 the issue has been resolved with BlackBerry Device Software 6.0.0.719 (Bundle 3084).

Downgrade to an earlier build of BlackBerry Device Software if an upgrade is not available. To reload the device software follow KB03621.
