The chart below displays contact and calendar synchronization features that are available for the following email account types when used on a BlackBerry PlayBook or BlackBerry 10 smartphone:

Contact Sync (CardDAV) |
Calendar Sync (CalDAV) |
POP (Post Office Protocol) |
IMAP (Internet Mail Access Protocol) |

Note: POP and IMAP are email-only protocols. In order to synchronize contacts and/or calendar, a CardDAV and/or CalDAV server must be setup by the mail provider.
Note: When synchronizing contacts to the BlackBerry PlayBook or BlackBerry 10 smartphone with an integrated Gmail account, only the contacts listed under My Contacts in Gmail will be synchronized. This is by design.
Note: For assistance with integrating GoDaddy hosted email accounts with paid IMAP access, see KB33649.
