When downloading BlackBerry Travel the following error is seen "This item is not supported by your current device profile"

When attempting to download the BlackBerry Travel Application from BlackBerry World on a BlackBerry Smartphone running BlackBerry device software 7.1 and earlier, the following error is seen:

This item is not supported by your current device profile

This message is seen when the BlackBerry Travel application is being downloaded in the country where it is not available.

CollapseResolution

 To confirm if the BlackBerry Travel application is available for the specific country it is being downloaded in, perform the following:

  1. Go to the BlackBerry App World website from a computer.
  2. Search for and select BlackBerry Travel.
  3. Hover over Supported Countries and then scroll through the list to confirm that the country for which the BlackBerry Travel application is being downloaded in is listed.
  4. If the country where the BlackBerry Smartphone is located is not listed then the BlackBerry Travel application is not available.
